How’s your weekend going?
It’s super long! I bought a bunch of clothes on Thanksgiving night and I’m excited for Monday so I can wear them
I might post some pics just so you can say I look good and boost my confidence he he I need that because I think I’ve gained some weight… it’s all those late dinners and yummy mid afternoon snacks, damn it!
Anywho, I went shopping to the Tanger Outlets here in Park City on Thanksgiving night – at midnight to be exact. OMG! the lines were crazy! The exit ramps from the freeway had a line all the way til the next exit!! I stayed there until 2am and I don’t regret all the wait in super long lines and the crowd fighting to get the last jacket, it was all great!
I’m sorry I haven’t read any other post from my Reader… I’m so bad! I’ve already screwed up my NaBloPoMo thing, I don’t think I’ll do that next year. It’s too much preassure and then I start blogging about random stupid things and I bore you all. Sorry. I think I’ll keep my weekends off so I can enjoy my normal life. Unlike some very talented bloggers out there, I enjoy my break from writing and reading on the weekends, and unfortunately, it’s not that I can’t wait to get home to my computer and blog about my day. I’m so lame that as soon as I get home I turn my computer on to read blogs and write a post but I end up ignoring the writing part, I get sidetracked and just watch TV. I suck.
I hope your weekend was as relaxing as mine… and we still have all Sunday! WooHoo!
I love long weekends

I’m stuffed and still feeling like eating more.
Is that weird or very thanksgivinny normal?
I was meaning to take pictures of all the food but I just got distracted between the turkey, yams, cranberry sauce, beans and pies. We brought some leftovers home and J is in love with that jello salad – which I don’t understand – and the I’m in love with rolls.
How was your Thanksgiving dinner? Are you full or what?

She did it again. Not pee on my bed, but she ate a box of chocolates.
As in pure chocolate.
And she’s alive!
So far – in her life – she’s eaten:
- Chocolate (full bag of m&ms, chocolate bars with peanuts)
- Chapsticks (several tubes)
- Bubble gum (the sugar-free kind… meaning the deathly kind)
- grapes (seedless green grapes, and some raisings)
- A chicken bone (some idiot left it in the middle of the street and Penny ate it – chewed it and swallowed it – when she was running towards me with her frisbee)
- Beef ribs
- Spicy chili sauce
- cheetos and very salty french fries
- qtips (unused BTW)
- bar soap
She has more lives than a cat – and I mean an American cat. (Becaus American cats have nine lives right? That’s 2 extra lives from foreigner cats…

Here she is trying to eat the pumpkin... silly dog
—-
Disclaimer: I take care of her like a daughter, and I spoil her rotten, but she can seriously be so sneaky about certain things!! I’ve learned to close doors behind me, push food and candies all the way back on kitchen counters, put lids on cotton swab containers, throw away food and put dishes away as soon as i’m done with them, etc etc.
With her, nothing is left for later or tomorrow. I have to take care of it now, otherwise she’s already on it.
(She ate the chocolates yesterday while sitting comfortably on my bed and in the meantime, J was making coffee and watching the news. Then J left after closing our bedroom door – without noticing a thing – and when I got home from work I found the mess: little foil wraps and pieces of chewed up chocolate box all over the bed.)
Little sneaky bitch.

J and I watched Twilight on Friday.
I don’t know about you guys but I thought it was pretty bad. I love the books and I had so many expectations about it, but honestly it was just plain cheesy. Jeremy thought it was ok because he was expecting it to be a really bad movie but ended up being just ok. Not for me! So here’s a few thoughts:
- Actress sucked. I thought she was too fake, too aggresive – compared to Bella in the book, who was more like shy towards Edward. And i hated the fact that she can’t pull her lips together, they always have to be hanging apart by an inch so her teeth are showing, it’s just annoying to me.
- Music sucked. Not the songs themselves, but the orchestry music. They were tacky and like a Mexican soap opera, very dramatic and not believable.
- Edward was surprisingly good. I confess I didn’t like the Rob Pattinson at first, but i think he did a job job as Edward. He was secretive, handsome, sexy without trying and very passionate about Bella.
- I don’t get why Jasper has that frightened look on his face. Was he scared in the book? I didn’t get that impression.
- The whole magic chemistry between Bella and Edward was gone. What I saw was just pure physical attraction (at least from Bella’s side). I was so disappointed.
- Dialogues were short and not very accurate to what was in the book.
- Bad make-up work on all vampires. And the female vampires had rosy cheeks. HOW? Aren’t they dead?
- Some parts of it were funny, like when Bella is hanging out with her school friends. That looked very natural and real.
- When I read about Edward climbing the trees, I pictured him jumping from branch to branch until he reaches the top, not scurrying up the tree like Spiderman.
- Cheesy, cheesy movie. I was so excited to watch it and now I’m sad to have spent over $25 between tickets, popcorn, soda, etc. I should have waited until it comes out on DVD.
What did you think of it?

Don’t know if this is the greatest deal out there or not (kind of a good deal, I guess) but I’ve become addicted to shopping earrings and accessories on Forever21.
Do check it out!
Thanks for the awesome tip, Hailey

Nic tagged me on Thursday to do a little meme about my experience with bikes. Well, this really is going to be so so little because I am scared of bikes, so this guy Guy McLaren is like my hero! lol
I used to ride my bike every time i could when i was little. One time when i was about 12 i went to visit my cousins to a different city and i couldn’t take my own bike with me, so when we all decided to go ride our bikes around town i borrowed my cousin’s friend’s bike. Her bike was really pretty and it was one of those bikes with the brakes on the pedals (push pedals backwards to stop) and not on the handles as i was used to.
The city where we were had a lot of big hills, like San Francisco, so we had to go up and down the streets. This one street was really steep and all my cousin’s friends wanted to go on it so i thought what the heck, it should be fun. We all started riding down the street and i was so happy! I was going so fast that i started getting ahead. Half way down the hill i started getting nervous because i really was going to fast so i made a fist with my hands to pull on the brakes but uh-oh – there were no brakes on the handle. I was going faster and faster and i panicked. I could see there was a hole in the middle of the street, because some guys had been working on the sewer and it just had some yellow tape around it as a warning but i could easily run those over and head to the sewer hole.
Those were the longest seconds of my life!
I could not think of how to find the breaks. Right before falling in the hole i managed to throw myself off to the ground. I had lots of bruises, cuts and scratches and i could never get over it. I can ride a bike on a flat surface but my ‘hilly’ days are over!!
Good luck Guy McLaren i could not do what you’re trying to do…

I don’t know WHY, HOW or WHY (again) you guys not only keep reading my lame posts but also give me awards!
Seriously!!

Is this supposed to be ironic?
lol
Ria, you’re just awesome and totally made my day week!! And even more during a week when i’m the laziest to keep up with my Reader… I’m slacking I know, but I’m reading everything, not ‘marking all as read’ like I did -oops- after i came back from Vegas a couple of months ago.
Shame on me!
I believe in karma so i’m passing this one to some really really good bloggers out there – my stalkees
:
E.P. – a.k.a. The Unicorn – you’re so smart and so cute! I think your boy is lucky to have you
RachieAnn – my stalker and stalkee, we’re like twins (on the inside, because I’ve found out she’s skinnier and taller than me -and to be honest, who is shorter than 5.1 feet? Do let me know if you are and you would make me feel so much better – so definitely not identical twins)
Noreen – your stories of your boy just simply crack me up. I can’t believe how alike are our S.O.!
Kat – my (not so secret) santa buddy… I’m going shopping this weekend – for you obviously
KT – I love your renewed kick-ass attitude!
Blondie – just because she has beautiful hair
And because I agree with her on all her Fantasy Fuck Fridays
Nic already got one from Ria, so thank you all guys for posting awesome stories!
